•Pelican: Christian symbol of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and the Eucharist, representing His self-giving love and redemption of humanity.
•Chi-Ro: Symbol of Christ is Lord
•Olive Branch: Peace, the fruit of unity in the Church once heresies are overcome.
•Scroll: Represents the Nicene Creed, the written profession of faith
Saint and Feast Day
St. Alexander (feast April 17) was the principal Alexandrian bishop who helped shape the Nicene Creed.
