Archdiocesan/University of St. Thomas Essay Contest

Congratulations to True Cross Catholic School students Shelby Donnow, 6^th grade and Kaylee David, 3^rd grade for receiving their awards in the Archdiocesan/University of St. Thomas Essay Contest. An Essay Awards Mass hosted by the University of St. Thomas and the Catholic Schools Office was held at the Co- Cathedral of the Sacred Heart on January 22, 2014. The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Fiorenza who also presented the students with their awards. The awards came from the Vatican and were blessed by Pope Francis especially for these students. Students from the 3^rd through 12^th grade from every Catholic School in the Galveston-Houston Archdiocese participated. The TCCS family is very proud of them!
